As I sit here this morning with my coffee; and daily devotional, I reflect on all the blessings and peace in the storm that no other than God has placed in my life. No, our life is not perfect by any means of the phrase; but I have truly found that through the trials and stress of day to day duties and situations- it is there I find His peace just waiting for me to receive it. I am not writing this as if I have gotten everything I have wanted- yet instead am treasuring the blessings of getting what God has wanted. No... this is not fame, fortune, money, vacations, toys, perfection, it is a gift that really does keep on giving- Gods gift of grace, love and direction in my life, and the life of my family. I can never truly describe how awesome it is to be a child of God!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
In only a week and a day we will be making our big move; well technically it's only 6 or 7 hours away- but that is the farthest the kids and I have ever moved in our lifetime. The Lord has led us every step of the way in this transition for our family. I am so thankful for the people He placed in our life to help make this happen.
